Trench Warfare, Now Obsolete .....All
When was it when, my ache...... first , commenced?
That brief spell, of supposed respite, that has caused pain,from all..... Just one night?
To have melded and become as one, to have drank, that sweet taste...... of, nature.
Wouldst that the memories have clouded, though not the sounds and scents.
For, lonely now, is .....that soldier, and while his heart, may have turned to stone.
He still suffers all life's aches and indignities.
And, he suffers them .....
