      Re: Covid antibody tests

There is some good news(of course I am being sarcastic) cancer rates (diagnosis) in UK are down 75% since Covid19 hit the World scene.
So if we look at stats only we can I interpret any way we want. Less diagnosis can mean less actual cancer instances. Hail! Have we finally found the holy grail and cracked the bastsard? Or is it that Covid19 is more insidious than just the efficiency of its mortality rates. Got a new lump or other cancer signs, 75% either may not want to burden the NHS with their worries or their worries are more maybe better to wait rather than risk catching the virus in hospital...
My thoughts... This virus is killing and ruining people's lives beyond its capability to kill the small % of its numerous hosts..
We also must remember this is the first virus gone rogue where we haven't any immunity at all.. Zilch... It ain't just flu... Most people with flu show as flu ridden.. Usually most bedridden.. Not walking round asymptomatic super spreading...
My point... Theorise as much as we want to... My trust will always be with those who fight on the front line.. I'm sure there aren't many of those talking conspiracies.

Trump is a laffin stock.. I thought Bush junior was certifiable, haircut 100 takes lunacy to a higher level.. I think he's doing great.. Trump quote, usually just before he rants about fake news..
Anyone know where Kimmy Un has gone?
      Putin?
In their Covid19 bunkers no doubt

The thing i love about Donald is when he gets asked a question about something stupid he said and he shouts, 'Fake News," forgetting that everyone saw the words come out of his mouth.

The ones that are pissing me off at the moment,(more than they usually do)is the lycra clad, virtue signalling cyclists still pedalling their way round the country here. The govt has asked people not to take part in activities that put them at risk of hospitalisation, and there's at least one mention a day of a cyclist in collision with a car. Why the f.ck can't they hang up their bikes and go for a brisk walk round the garden for a few weeks, instead of putting ambulance staff and medics at risk of catching/passing on to them the virus? They always think they're above rules,be it the highway code or requests to stay at home, wankers!

            Re: Covid antibody tests

Just chatted with my daughter, an NHS sister who has staggered out of a London virus ward after another 14 hour shift in full 'combat' gear trying to pull dying people back from death, she is out on her feet. I said to her the country were out applauding NHS staff again last night, she said 'the best way they can show gratitude is to keep a social distance from each other for a few more weeks, we are noticing the slow down'. I think Kevins post should cover the front page of every newspaper in the UK. Just on politicians trying to gain summat out of this, the leaders of the 'four nations' seem to be vying with each other to see who can get back to 'normal' quickest, I hope the virus can recognise borders if 'nations' come out of it at different times

it's all the more reason to optimistic that this virus is MUCH less lethal than we have been lead to believe. A similar (but larger) study was carried out on a sample of 3300 people in Santa Clara county (Stanford U did the study) and found similar results. They found that up to 50 times more people are infected than has been locally reported and estimated a mortality rate closer to 0.12%, barely more than the annual flu. We need aggressive nationwide antibody testing. This is the best way to inform policies around re-opening the country.

"THEY FOUND THAT UP TO FIFTY TIMES MORE PEOPLE ARE INFECTED"

"A MORTALITY RATE CLOSER TO 0.12%BARELY MORE THAN THE ANNUAL FLU"

I cant connect the dots. There is something going on media wise.

Bloke got mad at me yesterday when i suggested what that sez above. Its almost like people want it to be deadly. That any sugestion of it being otherwise makes them mad. Like the fookin' Media is infallible. Having witnessed the ambushing of Trump for four years I dont trust the kunnts on anything anymore.

Click on that link and read it all. Or dont. I dont know what to believe.

              Here is another one

"I can forgive Trump and republicans for their response as well as Biden, Pelosi, and democrats for their mistakes, as well as their political treatment of it. After all, they’re callable and they’re politicians after all. They are who they are. And we didn’t know what we were dealing with. What I have trouble with is the National Media taking sides (not their job) and using panic for political reasons. There has to be a special place you know where for these people".

Think that's the worrying thing with this virus, mate. A lot of people show no signs from it and have no idea they have it, so continue spreading it, until old feckers like us bump into them.

I have an idea that if I cop for it I will be a goner given the damage to my lungs from that Bacterial Pneumonia in 2014.

Same in our local Spar/petrol station in the village. There's no one way system, and the aisles are narrow, and I love the look of fear on some of their faces when you come down the aisle towards them, and can't resist a subtle cough as we pass!
