    Re: Covid antibody tests

Well that was my arse last night, like a sawn off shitgun! The hardest bit, after hobbling across the front room, was keeping the cheeks clenched while stepping up the 2 steps leading to the corridor to access the bog. A few near misses with a small squirt down the thigh!
The actual procedure today was no problem, didn't even need to use the gas and air thing except for them making me take a couple of breaths beforehand just to show I knew how to use it. No pain at all, just a couple of uncomfortable moments when she was turning the corners, and fascinating to see the inside of myself in colour as she went deeper and deeper. She pointed out a bit of diverticular disease,(small pouches in the bowel just inside the arse, like hernias that can trap shit and get infected) but that's normal for anyone our age who's had a few hard turds in their time, and rarely causes any probs,so all's well. They said they'll call me back in a couple of years to have another root around, but at least I know what to expect now. My only disappointment was not getting a badge and lollypop as they said I was their easiest patient this week!

We are hard pressed to explain what is going on here to anybody living outside of America mate. Their media blinds them from this coup that is playing out here.

Bound to be a bit difficult to understand though, Tone. All Donald's medical experts say wear a mask, but Donald takes the piss out of people wearing a mask. He keeps saying 'fake news' but whenever I watch the news they are just reporting on something stupid he has said.
I have always set myself a very low standard, and constantly fail to achieve it.

It hasn't caused me any pain Bob,wasn't aware of it till the nurse mining my arse pointed it out,but if stuff gets stuck in the pockets it can cause terrible infections apparently. The secret they say is plenty of fibre and avoid constipation,as the small hard bits of a turd can fall in there and fester. Not often I get constipated, the beer keeps me regular!

Billy, the fact the markets are doing well while the economy is in lockdown and businesses are closed with 31(?)million unemployed, should tell you what a rigged casino it is. It's all based on QE 'printed' money. One former Wall St trader, Max Keiser, likens it to money laundering, and/or a Mafia long firm fraud, Uber, WeWork, Lyft, Wayfair and others, are the examples he cites.

I don't fully understand the mechanisms of it, but for example, Wayfair, a type of online catalogue company, has posted these trading figs (losses); 2015 (-$77M), 2016 (-$194M), 2017 (-$245M) 2018 (-$504M) 2019 (-$1Bn). You will have heard (via CV19), of exponential growth, well this is an example of exponential decay, but as MK says, these days a business (corporation?), does not have to be a self sustaining entity. In other words, how can these companies remain trading when small companies would have been wiped out by constant losses?

In short, the fact the markets are doing well does not necessarily mean the people are doing well and this system only benefits the players in these markets.

Just found the episode, block out the fact it's RT, he's a DT supporter, as are quite a few RT presenters, which i'm sure will surprise you? His presentation style is an acquired taste, but being a multi millionaire ex trader, he knows what he's talking about.

Tony, we are told the same here, (we've never had it so good). When you say 'people', what people? Do you mean the average working hourly paid, person? In what way are they doing so well, e.g. are they receiving a much higher hourly rate, improving their families quality of life and clearing their debt, or even building some savings? Does this mean they can now work 3 or even 4 jobs, instead of 2, to get by? It looks good on paper, but there are still very high levels of inequality.

Don, I consider myself to be working class, but think I have been 'striving working class'. I understand more than most that there are people and families in society who will be bottom of the pile through no fault of their own, way they were brought up, illness, industrial accident or illness, poorly educated, born with disability etc and society (their country) have a duty to ensure that they have the basics of a safe and decent life. The rest who are fortunate enough not to fall within that category have a responsibility to improve their lives beyond the bare necessities as best they can through education and being as good as they can be in their chosen job, skill or profession. Those 2 groups apart ( life's unfortunate and the grafters) there are literally millions of people in the UK who are happy to extract whatever money they can from 'society' who are neither unfortunate nor do they intend to lift a finger to work, they were hated in mining communities I was brought up in. Unfortunately every time someone mentions those genuinely needing proper support, the bumming bastards come to mind. Overseeing all of this are governments who have to give OUR money out, currently Tories led by an Etonian and filled with people who have made their pile and they pretend to understand real needs, then there is Labour, led by an Etonian who offered to rightly support those in real need, without sorting the bums, and it is why they lost the last election. Both the genuinely deserving and the striver's could not stomach money going to wasters. Chase the wasters, support the people in real need and let the strivers get on with their lives. Agree with Tone, virus apart the grafters were doing very well and so they should, unfortunately the disadvantaged were not doing as well as they should, our money was not getting to them.

Don .... Wages for the blokes under Trump's auspices have DOUBLED in 3 years in the industry I am in. The place is rocking and rolling. I am paying concrete finishers $400.00 a day and they are back in the house by mid day/ 1300 hours. They were getting 200 in 2016....and its the same through out the construction industry. Everybody is working and doing well. He has wiped the floor with the Democrats and their policies. Its imperative he gets re-elected.
