I am jealous Rab.... Bank's Mild one of the best ales to come out of the Black Country .... Yam Yam Nectar of the Gods. I propose Julia Banks for Sainthood.

My uncle Jack was a Drayman at Bank's. In the days when they were delivering them big barrels with Shire Horses. One of them squashed him against a Boozer wall in Dudley. Jacked him up for a while.

I dont know about the Amber .... never had it but the mild was outstanding stuff. I orbited Mars a few times on that Bill.

I was thinking about you today. You have to push on with that room addition mate. Just photograph everything and video it and save it for the inspector. Look out for stud warp.

Banks's looked almost like Guiness Dave. Not quite as dark but had a great head on it that clinged to the glass all the way down. It had a cult following lol. The Churchfield Tavern... Little Lane West Bromwich. Happy days.

the addition is wrapped in tarps tone. can't get a roof inspection winters city is closed down. forecast today heavy rain today and sunday. we have started the electrical rough in. the windows are sitting in the living room. so the forecast is good for next week so tarps off and need to install 24 seismic straps to the roof. the city inspector will look at the roof so i can get the shingles on. he knows i do not do shitty work. soldiering on tone no other option.
