Leopard just munched a little kid in Uganda I think. Last Sunday night. All they found was his skull next day. I am dead wary of big cats when I am out in the wilds alone. The thought of coming face to face with one giz me the willys. Bears as well.

Ain't no Grizz around here but there are Black Bears in the Mountains. I saw a Mama down by a stream with two cubs once when I was looking for a place to fish for trout. They were a hundred yards away. Not being Davy Crockett .... I fooked off quick. lol

The experts say if a Grizz jumps yer ass you have a slight chance if you play dead. If a Black bear attacks you....fight like fook because you are on the menu. A lot of Black bear will leave if you let them know you are coming. Make a bit of noise somehow. If they don't you have a problem Dave. Big time. You are about to become bear shit.

Went up to Alaska to live with the Katmai Grizzlies every summer ? The scoffed him and his bird in the end. There is a documentary on him on You Tube.

They are talking Bears too. Dunno about bears in place where you ain't allowed a gun. Mind I been up in the Sierras where they abound and never seen one up there. Seen a family on Big Bear Mountain. They have them all over Eastern Europe running wild as well. Never hear of any attacks. Heer you are Dave. This could be you in Seaham....when you go gold digging mate

Remember in Kenya up in the Abadairs, Hugh Huntington jumped out of the land rover to take a picture of a warthog which was snuffling about nearby. It spotted him and charged,old Hugh jus dived into the back of the Rover when the bloody thing hit the back with full force. What a bang man, you wouldn't want it hitting you. Then the bad tempered bugger just walked away as though nowt had happened.
