    George Harrison

    Bevan boys selected in mines
they felt they were elite confines.
    The year our hero born
    dying in battle the norm.

The quiet Beatle born this year
hello there la and all that cheer.
    Head butts all the craze
when I got there still the rage.

    The year nineteen forty three
    Liverpool now blitz free.
    Twelve Arnold Grove the place
    George Harrison shows his face.

    Slim Whitman an early hero
    his guitar playing an intro.
Met Paul McCartney on a bus
    always music they'd discuss.

    Lead guitarist with The Beatles
    later becoming musical nobles.
    Guitarist, singer, songwriter
    not a bad film producer.

George died in twenty o one
    Something my favourite song.
Twice Rock and Roll hall of Fame
    an MBE and royal acclaim.

I have always set myself a very low standard, and constantly fail to achieve it.
