Joined the army in Sep '76 as a Junior Leader, went to 9 para Sqn RE in '78 and was there until '84. Proud to have supported 3 Para throughout the Falklands war of '82. Served with Airborne Forces again 2002-2004 as QM of 51 Sqn RE Air Assault which I was heavily involved in the re-role to a Para Sqn which it now is as part of 23 Engr Regt (Air Asslt) at Woodbridge. Finally left the army in June 2010. Member of the Durham (Consett) PRA.
Currently self employed in skydiving and as a pilot, and do work with disadvantaged veterans through The Re-Org Trust as Chairman.
