It is my sad duty to report the death of one our most colourful, post-war TA, Airborne Warriors. Colonel Lachie Robertson OBE, TD DL died last night in Broadford Hospital in his home Isle of Skye. He was born in 1921, taught at Glasgow Academy until his retirement in 1982 and commanded 15 PARA (V) handing over to Joe Starling in 1969. The funeral will be in Elgol Village Hall isle of Skye at 2pm on Friday 16th November.
