We were told we should surrender,
That our glory days were through,
We have heard it throughout history,
I assure you it’s nothing new.
The Spanish Armada set sail,
Over a hundred ships their fleet did boast,
But Drake and the Royal Navy,
Ensured they never reached our coast.
The French and Germans would try it,
Napoleon twice and The Kaiser too,
But victory was always ours,
Trafalgar, D-Day and Waterloo.
At Dunkirk we were surrounded,
Our lines they would surely breach,
But our lads would not surrender,
And were rescued from the beach.
The Luftwaffe sure would hurt us,
Through the dogfights and the blitz,
But the spitfires would win the day,
For a nation which never quits.
The Argies declared them “Las Malvinas”,
Victory impossible so far from our shore,
But the Navy and Paras would liberate them,
And the Falklands were once more.
So here’s to Merkel, Juncker & Macron,
Barnier, Varadkar and Tusk too,
We’ve heard it time and time before,

Most of the country voted OUT
Now I believe
We will never leave
Parliment think they know better
We should send them all a letter
And tell them they are a big pain
And we don't want to remain
And be run by Brussels
Who can only grow sprouts
So lets get our country OUT.
