That is quite simply the fukkin worst Andy Capp beret i've ever seen. Shouldn't be allowed, especially since the re-introduction of Pegasus. Need to turn the ally scale down by about 95%. Not ally, it's fukkin ridiculous.

I have long felt that the modern AB brigade is divided and has become divisive since the break up of 16 Independent Bde. Regardless of cap badge, bunnets like this do absolutely fukkall to contradict this.

General Lorrimer is a club member but I don't have his email addy or I would ping him. I asked Tommy on FB to grip him.

black jack crane, nobby arnold, tom foster, piggy gray et-al would fix this real quick short trip to the regts RP followed by by a few sessions on the log and copious amounts of bunny hops would fix the problem real quick. i blame the SNCO's. we make fun of the marines i have yet to see them wearing there berets like frakkin andy cap.

That's the worst I have ever seen. How could he even think it looks ally, He should be stripped of it and made to wear a crap hat for his disrespect. I sent for and received a new beret from the airborne shop it was the correct size BUT apparently it is a (small crown) WTF so when I shaped it a tried it on it looked too small. I will have to buy a larger size so there is some material to pull over or try to find a depot issued one I think they were made by Kangol ?

It was Kangol Fred, but they were like chopper landing pads, sadly Victors is long gone, but Henry Du Bora's is still there, but I don't know the quality of the berets.

REME I think.Perhaps he's used for pulling through the barrel of some big gun to clean it,and the shape of his beret makes it possible.Can't think of any other reason for such a ridiculous shameful object to be allowed to exist!

get on e-bay fred you will find at a fair price. i still have my kangol issued in 69 the depot THE PARACHUTE REGIMENT. my victors is slowly falling to bits.

The Airborne Shop,(What used to be the PRI shop in Depot,now moved to Nottingham) does Victors type berets.Just google airborneshop.
