Hi all, I would just like to say hi to some friends here in the club. I tried to become a member on the FB and was refused, because I didn’t answer all the required questions? I felt almost like Tudor
Since I was last here some time ago, I think I’ve done many P coy’s and still have not passed.

My life has somewhat changed.
Thank god I was at least awarded WP with the added DLA
Which incidentally I have just found out, will increase substantially because of my oxygen.
also so chuffed pensions will increase lby £900.
All new adaptions to the bathroom by £6000.
So doing quit well.
The problem is that I can no longer enjoy a gun license
Or going in the caravan, as it contains gas fire equip.
Also wherever I go I have to carry oxygen bottle.
that I don’t mind so much. As I did carry aqualungs for 3 para in the jungles of Malaya.
Ahh well at least I’m still here for my family and still carrying the lump of 4x2.

Cheers Pat. I don’t know about that, my eye sight is not what it was, as I closed my case with the specialist, some Abdul or other that gave me eye cream for 6 mths which clearly was my cataract. So I said uck it I’m not waiting another year. So the best I can do is go on Netflix and the Amazon trap.
Anyway selling all my gun kit, and what a surprise on the amount gathered.
A thought, I may be able to concentrate on a crossbow

Great to hear from you John and sorry to hear of the trials and tribulations health wise you are going through, it must be a big worry for Shirley and the family, I send my best wishes to them all.

To be honest I’m putting my family through s**t with worry over the past few years. Can’t help it though, except for fighting the battle with the grim reaper. I will not open the door to the bar-steward even if someone shouts from the other side “it’s the pizza delivery man, or woman or something else .
As for tech Dave, I seem to be like you recently,
I can't even look at a page of writing without all the words jumping and dancing, like something out of the film “beauty and the beast”.
5 days before Christmas we lost Mia.
But we rescued a small working cocker spaniel a complete difference to Mia, she loves all dogs
and humans to which she comes in contact with.
Although she’s keeping us on our toe's.

Hi John, just keep fighting and keep your chin up. Val sends her very Best Wishes to you all and wishes you the Best, it,s a pain in the srse this getting old business, I,ve now got cataracts, too much sun over the years I reckon so now paying the price but other than that still as daft as ever! Val having health problems, really bad arthritis so movement very much restricted. She,s had several scans. one to check for the onset of Alzheimers, probably brain damage having to live with me! We have two doggys now, "Daisy" the big daft American Staff, now 4 years old, daft a a brush! We,ve also got a Staffy pup, Lizzie 5 months old, a real livewire who is intent on chewing the gaff to bits! So full time dog walking the order of the day for me! Sorry to hear the loss of Mia, heartbreaking to lose your best friend but we continue to put ourselves through it, life is definitely not the same without your best friend by your side, their love is unconditional.
Keep fighting John and all the very best to Shirley who is your rock, nothing as powerful as a Strong Woman!
