        Think its a L42A1 sniper rifle based on the 303 I used to carry one and I know him who is carrying that one I think but no names this an open thread

            No that's a 303 Eric.The L42 had the woodwork shortened so the last foot or so of the barrel was exposed.There were still a lot of the old 303 sniper rifles around in the early years of the L42.

              By that time some of us in 3 Para had both French and Canadian wings,but were only authorised to wear one set.

                  Yes that was my only doubt was how much barrel you could see also it probably it aint who I thought it was but who knows its a long time ago.
