Having taken into account the current COVID restrictions that currently apply in the different parts of the UK, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 reunion.
The Chairman Nick Butler will be heading up the Fan at 0930 hrs on Saturday the 15th May and he will lay a BAFC wreath on behalf of the Club at the summit.
He will also toast The Fallen.
If other members wish to make their own pilgrimage up the Fan at their own risk please follow the relevant COVID restrictions that will be in place.
As a Club we are not able to accept liability for members safety and well being over the weekend of 14/15 May. Our Clubs insurance that normally covers Fandance will not operate this year.
Update to follow reference Aldershot 10 Miler on the 20th November 2021.

Another "Better by Ford" story. Henry was a automation genius.........
Subject: B-24 Liberator - An Amazing Story
The Genius of Henry Ford.
This was BEFORE Pearl Harbor !!!
Ford's B-24 Bomber Plant at Willow Run, MI.
Henry Ford was determined that he could mass produce bombers just as he had done with cars.
He built the Willow Run assembly plant and proved it. It was the world's largest building under one roof.
Even then FORD HAD A BETTER IDEA!
This film will absolutely blow you away - one B-24 every 55 minutes.
ADOLF HITLER HAD NO IDEA THE U.S. WAS CAPABLE OF THIS KIND OF THING.
I read an autobiography a while back of a pilot of one of these who survived a crash in the Pacific, followed by weeks in a raft, capture by the Japanese, torture, imprisonment, and final liberation. He lived on,to become an athlete, even carrying the flag at the 1984 Los Angeles olympics, and running on into his 80's.Overcoming PTSD,and alcoholism,he dedicated his life to running a shelter for others afflicted in this way.He may even be living now,a remarkable story, but my main point is his criticism of the B24,which he said was a dangerous plane to fly, constantly falling apart around the crews,as his did.He much preferred the B17,and perhaps the conveyor belt building of this plane, while providing the numbers needed to win the air war, produced a shoddy machine, dangerous to the crews who had to man it.
There is a museum at Thorpe abbots in Norfolk, which is dedicated to the 100th Bomb Group USAAF. The group was nicknamed the Bloody 100th because of the casualty rate of B17 crews on various missions. The museum is well worth a visit to anyone interested in the air battles of WWII .
I remember one of the REME lads in Dover being given a stool sample tube to take to his next appointment. There was a small scoop thingy attached to the inside of the lid, about the size of your little fingernail, the quantity they required, but he stuffed the thing full, and wondered why the nurse burst out laughing and called all her mates in for a look!
