Thats a great photo Colin. Its an honour to be around those old Arnhem blokes eh ? We had one in 3 para..... Joe Grout. He ran the Pioneer Shop. I used to be always trying to get his account of the Big Scheme the few times I got to rub shoulders with him. As a young kid he fascinated me. He had been there done that after all, and I was fresh from Maida and "Theirs is the Glory" I actually was a pest I think. Now I look back, but he never got mad.

Tony I am reading a book called Roll of Honour, Battle of Arnhem September 1944.The book contains a complete list of those who were killed during the battle in September 1944. It shows the date of the casualty; and the place of the original field burial, before the final interment in the Airborne Cemetry Oosterbeek or elsewhere. The book I have got is the 5th revised edition 2011 it has been compiled by J A Hay, he hopes to do the same with Normandy in the future.
