Andy is ex 1 PARA and a club member.
To those of my friends in the SES, either in Broome or Perth. There is some sad news to share - our Scottish Paratrooper Andrew Bowie , who always had a funny story to tell around the campfire, passed away yesterday (24th). He had an operation and his family advised that he did not wake up. RIP Andy.
I have not seen Andy for a number of years due to the tyranny of distance and also different paths that our lives have taken. It is more of letting some of our mutual friends that may not be aware of his passing and also passing on thoughts to his family.

...A gentle, caring adventurous, and funny little Scotsman whom we all loved dearly. He'd also been a drug and alcohol councillor for many years.
He went in for a routine corrective heart operation...but sadly, and to our shock, didn't make it through. We're all going to miss him a lot...s...o will his little black cat Mooshka ): Blessings to his family
