The P Coy Ten Miler is an annual event that takes place every November it is a Ten Mile tab across the old training area in Aldershot. It takes in all the old sights such as Flagstaff and Hungary hills as well as long valley. For the older members it brings back memories of P Coy when the Brigade was stationed at Aldershot, where instead of ambling round it was done at the double. Also flash backs are possible to the log and stretcher races of bygone days.

The weekend starts on Friday where the vast majority arrive in the Shot book in to their accommodation and head off to the Traff (Trafalgar Public House) one of the remaining Airborne Pubs left in Aldershot. Here a casual night of reintroductions and meeting up of old friends and new ones takes place.

Saturday morning we RV at the Traff in the Morning where sausage and bacon rolls and tea are provided before the tab starts and following the photo call the expedition takes off. Taking Wellington Avenue then the Farnborough Road before entering the training area, the training area is exited onto the Basingstoke canal past Browning Barracks and up to the military cemetery. At the cemetery a single red rose is placed on the graves of past airborne colleagues from all ages and toast of port is taken in remembrance all airborne colleagues wherever they may lie.

Then it is back to the accommodation for a long soak in the bath and a little rest before the evening activities. At around seven its is back to the Traff for a social evening is held that includes a raffle, auction and other fund raising activities take place raising further funds to help airborne colleagues past and present in their hour of need.
