Bute Street built for trouble, strife
her family large a little wild
when father made himself reviled
The police arrested and made it stick
their father getting five years nick
deportation followed his time
Shirley to young unaware of crime
Mother a toughy intelligent too
I think we'll move and start anew
mother knew when to duck and dive
my kids are mine they will survive.
It's got to be mother that Shirley likes best
always there passing the test
