Gents
It is my sad duty to inform you of the passing of WO2 John Hately Parachute Regiment.
John passed away on the 24th of December having recently been unwell.
I do not have any funeral details yet but will get Eddie, Mick or Ted to update you as soon as Lisa his Grand Daughter has advised us as I know many of you will wish to attend his funeral. I certainly hope I am back in time to show my respects.
Gents from Outback Canopy and SAMVO we will keep you posted in the event you wish to attend.
Sad news to learn of John’s passing given the time of year.

Originally 156 Bn in India, when the Regiment was formed.
2 PARA then later years 10 PARA.
Also a Warden at the King's Park War Memorial for many years
They will have about 10 Wardens turning out also for John. from Highgate RSL
