Behold the Greek Bellerophon astride a winged horse
Thee immortal Pegasus
On a mission impossible
None to succeed before the condemned man and steed
To Slay the Chimera
Monster of foul, fire breathing; vilest breath
Of goat's body, lion's head and serpent's tail
She was terror of a locality and of no Earthly pity
No more, the battle won; the victors stood amongst foul gore
And so as historical myth does show
The triumphant first airborne warrior prince
Mounted astride Pegasus
Adorns the hearts of British Airborne gods from that day since
Utrinque Paratus is all....
