Cheers Rab,F.ckin Brill! talk about rolling the years back.Some o me owd mates still go to the weekenders armed with the old talc.Dare,nt gu mi sen these days,if I tried to execute a back drop,they,d need to phone mobile crane hire tu get mi back up agian.

Dave, the Twisted Wheel in Manchester is still going,they hold a Sunday session (3pm till 8pm) and a Friday night session (8pm to 2am) once a month.Look it up on the tinternet.It's not the dog in the fight,it's the fight in the dog that matters.Comment

Yeh I know Rab,its advertised regularly on the Wednesday evening Radio Sheffield Northern Soul show hosted by Barnsley DJ Steve White between 7 - 10pm,tune in its f.ckin brill! you should be able to pick it up at your locstat.
Twisted Wheel,worra legendary place that is and was in the 60s,when home on leave,used to head over the Snake on Saturday night to Manchester with the lads.They all used to be in there,Georgie Boy Best with his Man U mates,lucky c.nts used to get the pick of all the best tash,not surprising eh!and Wayne Fontana used to be another one that was always in there.
Remember one time 2-30am on our way back,f.ckin snowstorm over the Snake,had to turn back round,go back to Manchester.Tried to get the nick to put us up for the night,no f.ckin chance,cells were full of drunks.So copper said best to go to all night Wimpey bar in bus station,f.ckin sound move,picked up a brass nail and she took me back to her place at Ardwick,jobs a gud un!
I am gerrin an old twat,reminicin again!

my older brother bobby went south to manchester for work he came back 1 year later wearing tarten trews and rhino leather cuban healed shoes looked really awesome but my two oldest brothers who were mods gave him hell
happy days he told me about the twisted wheel club telling me that they had lassies in cages hanging from the ceiling could be true i do not know but the thought of it is nice

Jimmy James And The Vagabonds,saw em quite a few times Billy,they were really big on the club circuit before getting into the charts.They were from Leeds.
