The funeral for Nobby Styles - ex 2 PARA and Falklands Veteran - will take place on Thursday 8 August 2013. There will be a Requiem Mass conducted by Father McFadden commencing at 10 am at St Peter's RC Church, Craignair Street, Dalbeattie, DG5 4AX GR 831613. The service will be followed by a Committal at 11 am in Dalbeattie cemetery. Afterwards those attending are invited by the family to the Ship Inn, High Street, Dalbeattie (01556 610419) for light refreshments.
Funeral Directors are John Pagan & Son, 104 Annan Road, Dumfries DG1 3EW (01387 254016).Possibly family flowers only with donations to charity First Base Agency in Dumfries, who gave such dedicated and caring support for Nobby in recent years.
Central Scotland PRA have very kindly agreed to provide Regimental support to the service and committal.
For those travelling from afar tented accommodation and reasonable support facilities in a walled garden in Dumfries are available through the charity First Base Agency (markglenmill@aol.com 07770443483)
